Natwest Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2018
Attending the gala dinner for the NATWEST Great British Entrepreneur Awards last night at Edgbaston Stadium, I was surrounded by glamorous business people and hosted by the clever Oli Barrett and Wynne Evans (he of “Go Compare” advert singing campaign) we had an entertaining time with jokes and song. A delicious dinner but long night, and then along came Small Business Entrepreneur of the Year Award, and guess what? I WON! So proud and of my team as well – couldn’t do it without them. Both my farming business and my new White Heron Brands business have developed over the last 20 years through hard work, tenacity and a not just a small amount of risk to become solid brands, good places to work and still loads of potential. Shame the venue wasn’t’ serving British Royales with British Cassis - that would have been even more appropriate!
